And She Was

There is a she that has had profound impact on our all of our lives. A source of encouragement, of strength and of a beauty that cannot be described. She has shaped our thinking, invaded our very thoughts and held claim to our focus, leading our unconscious self.

Overt, covet or seemingly inert, the influence is real, we can feel it if we take the time to stop and listen to our thoughts. Some credit mother earth, some rely on the mother of invention and some adhere to an orthodoxy of their faith. The sagacious have seized the opportunity to come to know and love her.

“The world was moving she was right there with it and she was
The world was moving she was floating above it and she was”

Frantz, Byrne, Harrison & Weymouth

She is a very controversial precept. Some will abandon all to decry the inequity and injustice laid upon her. Many try in vain to make her into their own image. Others will exploit and degrade her with little thought to the wonder of she.

Without her, there is little comfort. Without her the brightness of the day is just a quiescent shadow. Without her the fullness of joy, is wanting. Life lacks the passion we need to push through the mire we are engulfed in, by just being.

She is what is needed.

Just her presence can be the locus of inspiration. And she was, and to our greater happiness, she is. She for us, to provide the occasion to seek understanding, and to be better for it.
